Marco Arcelli appointed CEO of EP Global Commerce

The shareholders of EP Global Commerce have appointed Marco Arcelli as CEO of the company. EP Global Commerce is an investment company in the commerce business based in Prague. In his new function, Marco Arcelli will oversee the investment in Metro AG and be responsible for the retail activities of the Group which include Casino, a leader in the global food retail market.
“Marco Arcelli is an experienced business leader and in his new role as CEO will further strengthen our European commerce activities,” says Daniel Křetínský, the managing shareholder of EP Global Commerce. “The appointment will also help to better align our investment activities in Germany, France and Central and Eastern Europe to further expand our portfolio. We expect offline and online activities in wholesale and retail to become a main pillar of our investment strategy and key growth driver.”
